The 54th SSATB Annual Meeting
496 attendees from over 300 schools and organizations joined us in Phoenix, Arizona for one of the most exciting, informative, relaxing and collaborative Annual Meetings ever. The program was embraced enthusiastically, as attendees heard from our featured speakers about what the future will hold for independent schools and their admission departments. 168 people joined SSATB for the first time this year, with 82 newcomers to admission taking part in the Admission Training Institute (ATI). 60 of our members took part in an inspirational community service project that beautified the Child Care Center and the Boys and Girls Club on the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC). Through purchase of the lanyards the kids made, as well as a donation from SSATB, we gave the Boys and Girls club $8300!
From Charlene Li's engaging opening speech to Pat Bassett's prophetic look at trends to Salman Khan's riveting closing, attendees were provided with a jam-packed schedule of events and opportunities for networking and connecting with peers. SSATB also thanks our sponsors, particularly our turquoise sponsor, SSS by NAIS, for helping us to provide such a rich and varied experience for our attendees.

I’d like to share the lessons I learned this year at the SSATB conference. Read more: http://www.schneiderb.com/lessons-i-learned-at-the-ssatb-annual-conference/#ixzz1Zv88NpIX
