Heather Hoerle is named new SSATB Executive Director

PRINCETON, NJ - The Board of Directors of Secondary School Admission Test Board, Inc. (SSATB) announced the appointment of Heather L. Hoerle as its next Executive Director, succeeding Regan C. Kenyon. Ms. Hoerle is currently Vice President of Member Relations for the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), based in Washington, DC.
James Power, SSATB Board Chair, said, "We are fortunate to have Heather as our next leader. She has a strong background in marketing to independent schools as well as an established track record of success in building relationships with SSATB’s school membership."
A resident of Washington Grove, MD, Ms. Hoerle began her career working in the admissions office of the George School in Newtown, PA, and later at her alma mater, Westtown School in Westtown, PA. where she is also a member of the Board of Trustees. Before joining NAIS, she was the Associate Director of The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS) in Boston.
Ellen Moceri, SSATB Board Member and Chair of the Search Committee, commented, "We conducted an exhaustive search for this important position and we are delighted to attract a seasoned and knowledgeable executive like Heather."
Ms. Hoerle earned her B.A. degree from Mount Holyoke College and her M.Ed. degree from Harvard University.
Based in Princeton, NJ and founded in 1957, SSATB is a non-profit organization that supports independent schools, students and families in the admission process worldwide. The organization provides admission testing for candidates applying to independent schools and support services to independent school admission offices.
