The Upper and Lower Level SSAT include a timed, ungraded sample of student writing. As potentially the only unvarnished, unedited piece of student writing that a school receives, our member schools confirm the importance of the writing sample but agree that new prompts are needed.
A small working group of interested members came together this past fall to determine new structures for both the Lower and Upper Level prompts. Now we need your help to write prompts!
The immediate time commitment for item writers includes the delivery of a minimum of 20 accepted prompts (Upper, Lower, or both) with a maximum of 50 accepted prompts.
Prompt writers receive $25.00 per accepted prompt.
Submissions must be received by March 31, 2012.
