If my student has approved accommodations and chooses to take the SSAT twice in the same admissions cycle, do I need to re-apply for testing accommodations for each test date?

No. Any accommodations approved during a given testing season will be available for testing through the end of that testing season (August 1st - July 31st).

When registering your student for another test within the same testing season, you must indicate that they require accommodation when completing the online registration process. By selecting, "Yes" when prompted regarding the need for accommodations, this will cause the system to only show test centers providing accommodated testing and will sync the any approved accommodations to the new registration.

For any paper-based testing, it is best to double-check the second page of the admission ticket for accommodations approved for that specific paid test registration. If the accommodations are bulleted there, your student is all set for testing; however, if the accommodations are not listed on the second page of the ticket, please contact EMA as soon as possible to see what testing options are available in your area or to have the accommodations added to your student's current registration, if possible.

For any computer-based testing, it will be best to contact Prometric or PSI (for At-Home testing) directly to confirm accommodations are scheduled for your student's test.

All approved applications for accommodations will expire on August 1st each testing season at which time a student will need to re-apply for any needed testing accommodations.
