Yes, your child may have snacks and beverages for consumption during the breaks.

For the paper-based SSAT, such as Standard and Flex tests, it is best for students to bring those drinks and snacks in a clear plastic bag. Your student will need to put them in the Snacks area and only access them during breaks.

Similarly, for a Prometric SSAT, it is best for students to bring those drinks and snacks in a clear plastic bag. Your student will need to put them in a locker or leave them with a parent/guardian in the waiting area during testing and only access them during breaks.

For the SSAT at Home your student should keep any snacks clear from the testing area and may access them only during breaks. However, for the SSAT at Home student may have a transparent glass or bottle of water without a label during all of testing.
