For those located in mainland China, whether you contact BTS Education, the Enrollment Management Association’s SSAT partner in China, or EMA directly depends on the nature of your questions. Please follow the guide below.

Contact BTS Education for:

  • Questions about creating an account on ssatchina.cn
  • Help logging in or accessing your account on ssatchina.cn
  • Registration assistance with the SSAT and its related services, SSAT Practice, or the Character Skills Snapshot
  • Changing an SSAT test date and location

Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. China Standard Time and 13:30 – 17:00 (excluding holidays)

Contact EMA for:

  • Assistance with accessing your EMA account on portal.ssat.org
  • General questions regarding the SSAT, SSAT Practice, Character Skills Snapshot, or the Standard Application Online (SAO)
  • Help with managing an existing SSAT registration, including listing SSAT score recipients and advisors and completing a Testing Experience Statement after testing
  • Assistance with SSAT Online Practice after purchasing it at ssatchina.cn
  • Assistance with Standard Application Online setup or submissions
  • Help with managing an existing Character Skills Snapshot registration, including taking the assessment and submitting results to schools

Please note that EMA Support is operating out of the Eastern Time Zone in the United States, thirteen hours behind China Standard Time during standard time and 12 hours behind during daylight-saving time.
