Are students able to take the SSAT with unlimited time if that is what they are provided at school or on state testing?

An untimed administration is not something that EMA is able to provide to students as this places an undue burden on our organization and the test site administering the test.

EMA will always require that there be some level of parameters placed on the amount of time a student is allotted for testing so reasonable expectations can be set for all parties involved in the administration of the test.

If a student requires more than 50% additional time for testing, the desired increase in test time should be requested as an "Other" accommodation within the student's application for accommodations and will need to be substantiated by the supporting documentation demonstrating or recommending the need for the amount of time requested.
