EMA applies a credit card surcharge for most products and services purchased by families. Except for the Standard Application Online (SAO), all products and services sold by EMA to families and purchased with a credit card are subject to a credit card surcharge.

Transparency is important to EMA, which is why EMA chooses to make this surcharge visible instead of rolling it into higher prices.

Other Notes:

  • EMA does not charge a credit card surcharge where prohibited by law, based upon billing address.
  • At this time, EMA does not accept alternate forms of payment (ex. check, wire transfers, Venmo, Google Pay, Apple Pay PayPal, etc.), however, we are reviewing possible other payment options that may be most convenient to families.
