In most cases students may choose which approved accommodations they wish to use on test day.
However, if the refusal of an accommodation would require additional resources which are unavailable (i.e. an additional test room, proctor, etc), it may not be possible for a student to refuse a specific accommodation. This is rare.
Timing alterations cannot be made on test day, however, when testing alone or taking a computer based SSAT, test takers can always end a section early if they choose.
