Taking a scheduled or unscheduled break during the SSAT at Home is easy. Simply chat the proctor to say "break." There is no need to wait for a response from the proctor. Take your break and when returning simply continue the test; there's no need to chat again.

Remember, students receive two ten-minute scheduled breaks during testing. One is after the writing sample and one is after the second multiple choice section. Students can also take unscheduled breaks during any test section; however, the timer will not stop and students will be unable to make up missed time.
