How to Reschedule or Cancel the SSAT at Home

You may have found this article for one of two reasons:

  • Do you need to reschedule your test in advance of taking the SSAT at Home? If so please proceed to the next section below.
  • Did you try to launch the test but couldn't connect or you started the test but couldn't complete it? If so skip to the lower section.

Reschedule Your Test Prior to Test Day

If you have purchased and scheduled a SSAT at Home test and need to change it, it can be rescheduled up until 72 hours before your student’s testing appointment. To reschedule your test sign into your account and click on "SSAT Testing" then "SSAT Tests" and finally select "Reschedule SSAT at Home."

You can also reschedule an appointment at least 72 hours prior to your student’s test appointment by contacting PSI directly at 1-833-207-1288.

Reschedule Your Test After Test Day

If you launched the SSAT at Home but you were unable to complete check-in or begin the test you have three options:

  • Reschedule your SSAT at Home
  • Change to a different way of taking the SSAT
  • Receive a refund
These options will be available 24 hours after your scheduled SSAT at Home date in the SSAT Tests section of your SSAT account. You will also receive an email with this same information.

Option A: Reschedule

Click this button to find a new date to take the SSAT at Home.

Option B: Change Test Type

If you prefer, you may also opt to have your student take the computer-based SSAT at a Prometric test center or through a limited number of paper-based testing locations where COVID restrictions allow. Click this button to change from the SSAT at Home to one of these other test types.

Option C: Cancel / Refund

Click this button to cancel your exam and automatically receive a refund if you paid with a credit card
